Kelberman Partners on Sphero BOLT Workshop

Kelberman is proud to collaborate with the Air Force Research Laboratory and Griffiss Institute in launching a Sphero BOLT Workshop for those 12-years and older. The workshop is an engaging and interactive experience with the Sphero BOLT, a cutting-edge robotic ball equipped with advanced programmable sensors and a vibrant LED light matrix. In this hands-on workshop, participants learn how to aim and drive the Sphero, program the LED matrix to display custom characters, and develop basic coding skills through creative programming exercises. Facilitators of the class took part in the Kelberman Developmental Disabilities: Awareness, Acceptance and Advocacy training as a way to prepare themselves to provide an inclusive and positive experience for participants. In our first class, students learned how to move their robots using a tablet by drawing and coding different patterns, changing colors on the LED lights, and some even started adding sounds! Pictured above is Jack from our first Sphero BOLT Workshop operating his robot.
