Direct Support Professional - Community Habilitation/Respite

We are looking for a DSP to assist a woman in her 40's that can help her continue to grow her independent living skills. Her interests include watching and talking about sports, accessing local stores and restaurants, and creating relationships with members of her local community. She would like to work with someone who shares similar interests and can provide oversight and supervision when out in the community. She is interested in assistance with her household chore skills including laundry, dishes, and light cleaning.

She is also interested in expanding on her money management skills. While out in the community, she wants to focus on being a healthier person by working on her exercise skills as well, going for walks and visiting new places. She values her independence and can complete day-to-day tasks on her own but is interested in having a DSP to further support her with her independent living skills both at home and in the community. She is friendly, social, and thrives on routine. The ideal candidate would be able to set a schedule together with her and stick to it.

If you are interested in an exciting, rewarding experience, please consider applying for this opportunity. This connection will be engaging and meaningful for both parties and intended to truly make a difference.
