Direct Support Professional - Community Habilitation/Respite
We are looking for a DSP to assist an active young man in his early 30s that can help him grow as a young adult and get him out into his Rome community to access local stores and restaurants. He would like someone who shares similar interests and can provide oversight and supervision when out in the community.
He is motivated and eager to grow his money management skills, socialization skills, and encouragement to clean his room. He values his independence and can complete day-to-day tasks in life but would like to have the opportunity to work with a DSP that can help him navigate a wide array of encounters and environments. He is friendly and eager to talk to the people he meets. He values his choices and the ability to make informed decisions with the support of his family.
If you are interested in an exciting, rewarding experience, please consider applying for this opportunity. This connection will be engaging and meaningful for both parties and intended to truly make a difference.
