Creative Arts Program
Creative Arts is a fun and interactive class that uses a diverse range of mediums to spark creativity amongst participants! Participants will work on a variety of activities including painting, textiles and many more as each week provides a new opportunity to try something new. Lesson plans are loosely structured to allow for creativity and exploration in this fun opportunity! Some of our activities include creating items for SPACE in Old Forge, including painting a pot and planting a summer flower, creating a lawn ornament or painting a bird house. Additionally, we will look to create personalized pieces of art for participants to keep, contribute to our Kindness Rock Garden and create our Kelberman Rock Snake!

Criteria: Open to the public/participants of all abilities
Goals: Social skills, joint attention, creativity, tactile input, mindfulness, executive functioning skills
Outcomes: Peer-relationships, participation in group activities, building on art and craft skills
Cost: $60 for all 6 sessions
